BION is a manga project by Satanasov, that I've been working on for the past few years as an environment artist.
I've created some 3D scenes and props in Sketchup which Satanasov then used as a base to create the backgrounds for some of the panels.
In this video I am showing two of the environments I've made and then you'll see layer by layer how Satanasov integrated them in his drawings. At the end of each scene I made a short animation in After Effects - obviously it's not part of the comic book :D, but I would really like to see BION as an anime.
